Go to the official Texas Roadhouse website and open the Gift Cards page.
Choose "Check Balance".
Enter the card number and the PIN (scratch the silver strip on the back of plastic cards; eGift cards show both in the email).
Your remaining balance appears on screen. Keep the card until the balance reaches $0.

Texas Roadhouse Holiday Gift Card Bonus

In past holiday seasons Texas Roadhouse gave a $10 bonus card for every $50 in gift cards bought, up to $100 in bonus cards. The offer usually starts in November and ends at the end of December. We have not seen a 2026 offer confirmed yet. Bonus cards are promotional: they usually can only be used in the first months of the next year and are excluded on certain dates.

Texas Roadhouse Gift Card Blackout Dates

Regular Texas Roadhouse gift cards have no blackout dates and do not expire. Only the free bonus cards have blackout dates, in past years they could not be used on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, for example. Check the dates printed on your bonus card.

Using a Texas Roadhouse Gift Card

Use it for dine-in and online To-Go orders.
Gift cards work at Texas Roadhouse restaurants in the U.S.; some also work at sister brand Bubba's 33.
You can split a bill between a gift card and another payment.
They cannot be used to buy more gift cards.

Lost, Stolen or Not Working?

Lost or stolen: a card is like cash, it can usually be replaced only if you still have the card number or the purchase receipt. Contact guest relations through the official site.
PIN scratched off: take the card to any restaurant; staff can check and use it with the card number.
Says $0 on a new card: the card may not have been activated at the store, go back with the receipt.
Small balance left: some states require cash back for small balances (for example under $10 in California); ask your restaurant.
